Just spent 30 minutes filling a "quick" form in 2025 💀
Hey Product Hunters! 👋
Just spent 30 minutes filling out a "quick" job application form. In 2025. For a software engineer role.
The absurdity: I literally have all this info on my resume, LinkedIn, and in my head, yet I'm sitting here typing the same details for the 100th time this month.
Current "solutions" are broken:
Browser autofill fails on 40% of forms.
Password managers help with login, not much else.
Copy/paste is just glorified manual labor.
The real kicker: Forms are getting MORE complex, not less. Multi-step wizards, conditional logic, file uploads, custom validations. It's like UX designers are actively trying to waste our time.
Quick poll: How many forms do you fill per week? I'm counting everything - signups, checkouts, applications, surveys. I think I'm hitting 10-15 easily.
What's your biggest form-filling nightmare? Mine is those "quick" job boards that make you re-enter everything that's already on your uploaded resume. 😤
This can't be the best we can do in the AI era, right?
