Launching without hype, has anyone tried it?

by

I launched a few things. Got some upvotes. But nothing really came out of it. No real users. No honest feedback.

Been thinking... maybe the way we launch is broken.

Just want to know how others feel about this, has anyone tried launching without the push? Just showing up in public, sharing what you're building, day by day, messy, unpolished, and real.

Would love to jam.

What you have mentioned is an approach that says “I have a great product that people are just dying to buy”. So, no marketing required I made this mistake long time back so learnt it the hard way :)

Thanks, @manu_goel2 ! I hear you on that. I've definitely seen the pitfalls of assuming a great product sells itself. My thinking with the more public, iterative approach is less about avoiding marketing, and more about integrating early user discovery and feedback directly into the building process, so that when we do 'push,' it's for something truly validated. Still figuring out the best balance though!"
