Maybe AI doesn’t need to produce the final design

I don’t think AI can consistently produce design work I’m completely happy with yet.

But it has definitely made exploring ideas much cheaper and faster.

I can try a direction, see that it doesn’t work, throw it away, and move on to another one without spending too much time on it.

That makes me wonder if I’ve been looking at AI design tools the wrong way.

Maybe their biggest value isn’t producing the final result.

Maybe it’s making the cost of trying and discarding ideas much lower.

I still want to make the final decisions myself, but getting there feels faster now.

Do you use AI more for the final output, or for exploring different directions?
