Rajiv Verma
Hi Fellow makers, I am Rajiv from India. After around a decade or so of working 9-5, in Software development, for the last 5-6 years, I have been a Solopreneur. I have been into programming for close to 16 years now, back when I was in school, and still love every bit of it. I help multiple companies press across the world, with the development and maintenance of multiple Software products and help them grow their businesses. Lately, I have been more and more interested in the process and building a SaaS and growing it, so, that's where I spend most of my time these days. I share my experiences and learnings (mostly on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook) from my decade and a half in this world and help people find a footing in Web-Development.

@techiechic whats your nr. 1 tip for achieving a good work-life-balance as an entrepreneur?
Tori Tolbert
@infr I use the Power of 24. There are 24-hours in a day. How will you use your time? My number one tip is to be consistent with prioritizing your tasks and personal time. Every Sunday I put together a tentative schedule for the upcoming week, which includes my goals/tasks that are a must complete for the week. Each day I take out one hour of the day for me...which is normally going to the gym or walking. But NO WORK. It's important that family and friends understand your goals and respect why you are committed to the Power of 24. Hope this tip helps!
Kim Salmi
@techiechic the planning is definitely something I could improve at. I try to have 8 hours of work, 8 hours with family, including house work, exercise, reading etc and 8 hours for sleep. But also allocating one hour / day for yourself might be useful, of course not always possible with kids.
Tori Tolbert
@infr I have kids and they understand the one hour of "me time". But it does take a little time to become a familiar habit for kids.
