The uncomfortable part of becoming a builder

Nobody really talks about how uncomfortable is it to start building and its not the coding part it is "what if nobody really cares ?" part.

Like you have an idea you genuinely like but then suddenly your mind starts overthinking and gives you 50 reasons why it won't work.

Then comes comparison. We look at what other people are building and wonder why your work doesn't look as polished, impressive or start-up worthy. Then you start thinking that you need to one more skill or tool, improve your design and build the perfect product.

And at some point you just build the imperfect version which feels perfect enough because that's actually where you start learning. Not from endlessly planning but from building something, watching it fail, fixing it back, getting feedback and trying again.

I think becoming a builder is less about suddenly becoming someone who knows how to build but its becoming comfortable with not knowing and still building anyway.

Maybe that's the part I'm learning to embrace right now.
