It definitely has pros. I believe at least a hybrid working model is the future

I think remote work is more like preference. Some people can still provides same output irrespective of their location. And vice versa also. Defiantly there are certain domain where remote working is not possible like operations. But there are also certain domains where you can easily work remotely.
I myself has been working remotely (wfh) from last 2 year.
How do you work? @ralphsalterego

Future is the hybrid work. Both remote and office work are necessary. People have different preferences and if companies want to have maximum productivity form their employees they need to take into consideration work habits.

hybrid work is one hundred percent the future. People will definitely tend to go to companies with these options. Just the savings on commute time is a huge addition to life.
I think hybrid or remote are going to become more the norm than the exception. Others have discussed the pros/cons of hybrid vs remote which ultimately will come down to the employee to find the right fit for their lifestyle.
I do believe 100% on site will make it difficult for companies to recruit top talent unless they offset it with other benefits (above market compensation, additional holiday, etc.)
I personally believe that remote work is the future – one day we will all work remotely. What would it mean to you? Well, you will be able to save big bucks on transportation or at least get rid of the need to buy a car. You will also be able to take advantage of cheaper, remote jobs that pay well. In fact, remote jobs are already a reality.
I think it's a huge trend and here to stay. Also think about what this means for inclusivity for everyone with disabilities and neurodiverse employees. Employment among disabled Americans reached an all time high in August 2022 thanks to remote work.
I think, working remotely has its advantages and disadvantages, there should be a balance. If, for example, the whole team works remotely, there still should be team-buildings to socialize together.
Seems like hybrid work will remain in our lives for quite a while if not forever.
I believe hybrid work is the future. 74% of U.S. companies are using or plan to implement a permanent hybrid work model. However, this will also change as advanced Metaverse technologies emerge such as virtual workspaces. You will be physically remote but virtually on-site.
As someone already said, it has pros and cons:
Pros:
You can hire people based on their skills, not location
You can work with people from all over the world
It's said that companies with diversified teams make more money
You're in control of your work schedule
You don't waste time getting to work in the morning/evening
Cons:
It's harder to learn from experienced coworkers, especially for juniors
You might feel disconnected from your team
So ideally we need to take all pros and get rid of the cons))
