For me, when my brain can work no longer, I take time to listen to an audiobook while doing some cathartic and mentally calming tasks like cleaning the kitchen or folding laundry. Sometimes I'll workout. It's all about finding what works for you and making the space to do it!
My tips for energy restoration are mostly :
- Watching a movie
- Meditating
- Sleep!!!
Won't exaggerate but these 3 activities are GOLD for me! Mostly, sleep does restore a lot of my energy + mood π

To rest. There are two right kinds of rest: Total relaxation. Switching over to another kind of activity

I go paddle boarding. (SUP). It's tranquil like running and is not as boring once waves are coming.

I read for that. I read a lot. And often in electronic form. (Whenever I talk about it I am asked which device, I immediately say huawei.) One of the reasons why reading reduces stress is its calming effect. Reading is a relaxing, monotonous activity. Of course, it all depends on what book you're reading, but for the most part, reading is exactly relaxing.
Hey, Rock music is how I prefer to relax. I always get a jolt of energy and a happier mood when I hear this. I'll also go for a quick walk to get rid of my bad energy. I'll also try hanging out with friends, playing with kids (you know their innocence and joy will make us better), and engaging in my hobbies.
