I believe it is important. Rather than going with the conventional syllabus, the schools can start teaching the youngsters some social skills- money management, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
Higher education is important for multiple reasons, including increased career stability and satisfaction, and the ability to make an impact on your community.
Education is of course required - but whether you choose the formal route or the informal route - that is upto the person
