What part of your job has AI already changed?

by

I have been thinking a lot about how AI is quietly transforming the way we work, not replacing jobs entirely, but definitely reshaping them.

At a recent Fortune summit, the CEO of Indeed said AI can now handle over half the tasks in most roles. But no single job can be fully automated. OpenAI’s Chief People Officer even called it a “reimagination of work.”

That really stuck with me.

So here’s a question for the builders, founders, and creatives here:

What’s one part of your job that AI has already changed—or that you think won’t exist the same way a year from now?

Whether it's content creation, brainstorming, coding, outreach, or something else, I’d love to hear how you're adapting.

Let’s share and learn from each other 👇

Well a good question, for me AI brings too much knowledge at one place where its tough to handle things. So going forward, it might be something which is gonna be challenging.

@deepanshu_chittoria Very real concern. I havve felt that overwhelmed too. Are you using any frameworks to filter or organize that info better?

Definitely sped up a lot of things. I used to spend FOREVER trying to just make social content that honestly, didn't do a lot to drive the business. As a marketer, I know having a social presence is important, it just doesn't have the RIO for us. Having AI helps me create multiple content pieces from thing though, which has been awesome!

Another, more specific thing it does, is help my content rank better organically. I usually plug everything into Chat and then use Yoast, Google ad words, and Google trends to help improve blog and page SEO.

@elissa_craig That’s the dream :) less effort, more ROI.

As a content writer/strategist, I think my job was one of the first ones to get impacted!

Honestly, I am not expected to write an entire long-form blog (>2500 words) entirely by myself anymore. While human intervention is still required, the process has mostly turned more into a supervision thing.

  • For example: Research work is a lot simpler now. I don't need to open 20 tabs in 5 windows and read everything on SERP word by word. Task is even simpler if I am looking for studies or statistics to quote.

  • It just takes minutes to draft a detailed content outline by specifying the intent and target audience.

  • More ideas for BOFU content! If I tell the AI what exactly my product does, it is able to give me help center resources and BOFU content.

  • And the best of all? I am no longer spending a lot of time on manual grammar checks and sentence structuring.

@purva_guptaa Interesting :)

AI has made our work a lot easier.

The biggest benefit has been how simple it is now to search for information.
Before, using Google could take a lot of time to find what you needed, but now AI gives quick and direct answers. It also saves us time in other tasks, whether it’s writing, planning, or coming up with new ideas.

In short, work has become faster and smarter thanks to AI.

@abod_rehman Agreed!

In my job as a social media specialist , AI hasn’t totally replaced copywriting and photo retouching but it has significantly enhanced and simplified both processes. AI tools can help generate ideas, streamline editing, and automate repetitive tasks, allowing creatives to focus more on strategy and originality. Rather than replacing human input, AI acts as a powerful assistant, making our work more efficient and opening up new possibilities for creativity.
P.S. Even this response was produced with the help of AI! 😊

@mohamed_halawa1 hahaha good

AI has significantly changed how I handle candidate management and recruitment.

With tools like the YourGPT chatbot, most candidate queries are answered automatically, saving me hours of manual communication.
Resume screening has also become more efficient, AI can quickly analyze and filter candidates based on skillsets, allowing me to focus on the best matches.

It even reminds me of upcoming events and deadlines, helping me stay organized. Overall, AI seriously reduced my workload and made my job more efficient.

The biggest thing, BY FAR, is using the advance reasoning chatGPT to do deep dive analysis on my business.

I will give it a TON of background context related to a decision I'm struggling with, and we'll get into a long conversation about how to proceed.

The bot's feedback is super thoughtful and actionable.

This tool ALONE has made me a more effective entrepreneur and has demystified a lot of how to execute well.

Sessions with the bot are usually 2 hours including drafting the prompt and the conversation itself.

For me, the biggest change has been in creating wireframes. Previously, when writing product requirements, I had to rely on tools like MockingBot or Axure to drag and drop various small blocks to build prototypes. But now, I can simply tell Claude my requirements and ask it to output an interactive prototype in HTML format. It saves me an incredible amount of time.

As a creative strategist, AI has significantly transformed various aspects of my role, enhancing both efficiency and creativity. Here's how:

Accelerated Ideation and Concept Development

AI tools like ChatGPT and Midjourney have become invaluable for brainstorming sessions. They assist in generating a multitude of ideas quickly, allowing me to explore diverse concepts and directions without the initial time constraints. This rapid ideation process enables more dynamic and innovative strategies.

For me AI has changed the way I work more than I expected. It’s become my go to for getting unstuck whether I’m drafting copy, or outlining a new idea. I still tweak the final output. Tasks that used to take hours now it takes few minutes. It’s not about replacing the work, just making space to focus on what actually matters. A year from now, I don’t see myself going back to doing things the old way.
