What’s a feature users asked for that you ended up regretting?

I feel like a lot of product bloat starts with a request that seems totally reasonable in the moment.

Then it ships, and months later you realize it added more complexity than value — more support, more exceptions, more maintenance, and one more thing the product has to carry forever.

Would love to hear examples from other builders. What’s one request you wish you had handled differently?

Honestly, “just one more integration.” It rarely stays just one, and the long-term maintenance cost is usually way bigger than it looks on day one.

@alpertayfurr So true. Integrations almost always look small at first, then quietly turn into ongoing maintenance forever.

We haven't launched yet, but already caught ourselves almost adding "one more integration" just because a few early users asked. Stepped back and realised – that's how bloat starts.

@wasil_abdal That’s a great catch to make before launch. Saying no early is probably one of the best ways to keep the product sharp.
