I would imagine that it's the same with tech, but I make physical products. Once you've changed one small thing, you've got to change everything else to accommodate that small change.

Having multiple stakeholders who have multiple priorities want completely different things wrapped at the same time. Someone came and told me: You should listen to only one person and that person should be your true boss. I stopped listening to my boss's boss and it changed the game for me!

We wondered to what extent we should split the back-end side of the functionality as a microservice. Microservices simplify source control, but they are more tedious to design and implement.

One design challenge that completely reshaped our approach was creating a user-friendly and intuitive interface for Rewardue. Initially, we had a complex design that included multiple features and options, which made the user experience overwhelming. However, after conducting user testing and gathering feedback, we realized that simplicity and ease of use were key. We simplified the interface, removed unnecessary elements, and focused on the core functionalities that users needed the most. This redesign not only improved the user experience but also made the platform more visually appealing.

Having a boss that doesn't know what he wants, and makes me change the design completely every few days! I learned how to brief correctly then!
