What's one healthy habit that vastly improved your quality of life?

by

A lot of us tend to neglect our health, being so entrenched in the work we're doing. That's unfortunate because without health, we can't really do much. It should be prioritized above all.

Prioritizing health starts with simple habits. Personally, exercising even just 45 minutes a day (usually in the morning) - whether that's lifting weights or shooting hoops has greatly improved my posture, energy levels, confidence, and mental clarity. It sounds cliche, but I really do believe exercising is a super-enhancer.

What is one healthy habit that has yielded improvements for you?

Doing 7-3 job instead of 9-5.

Creatine monohydrate. In addition to enhancing the performance of physical exercise (I lift weights 4 times/week), according to recent research, creatine seems to enhance cognitive performance (and fight the effects of sleep deprivation, for example), and may also have benefits to vascular performance.

Not a habit, more an understanding. When work starts to get in the way of life, you have a problem. For example, you sacrifice your morning run to do emails faster. You skip dinner with friends to work late. Sometimes it’s essential, most of the time it’s a choice. Just keeping that in mind has been a helpful compass for me. Especially for someone who enjoys work and the lines can easily blur!
