What’s one mindset shift that helped you grow (in work or life)?

by

When I first started in marketing, I used to wait for the perfect moment.

The perfect design.

The perfect words.

The perfect timing.

I would hold back on launching campaigns, sending emails, even sharing my thoughts, because I felt things weren’t ready yet.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

>Perfection slows you down.

>Getting things out there, learning, and improving along the way—that’s what really helps you grow.

Since then, I’ve embraced this mindset:

Done is better than perfect.

What about you?

What’s one mindset shift that helped you move forward in work or life?

Let’s share and learn from each other! 💬

I resonate with that a lot! Not so long ago, I found myself re-reading written emails or texts dozens of times before sending them (even the causal ones) when in reality, it probably wasn't really that serious. Perfectionism wastes a lot of time.

My fundamental mindset shift happened after experiencing what it's like to be a loser as a high school athlete. Instead of blaming others or circumstances, I learned to take responsibility of everything and little by little, I started winning. That experience of being a loser has stuck with me all my life. A loss is a valuable lesson.
