You have a new idea and it's on your mind, you want to get started, but where? What do you do first?

It's a practice I picked up when starting working at walkover.in, always have a notepad & a pen handy so whenever anything pops up, note it down that moment.
This way I never lose out on any thought/idea.
I begin to decompose the idea into tasks and the answers to the questions - why? for whom? etc., and sometimes I just scroll in my head how it can be, think over different scenarios and then return to splitting into tasks

Google what is needed to get that plan working.
Then segregate what I know and need to learn from those.
Learn and research about things I don't know.
Implement.

Personally I start crystallising the idea, turn it into a logical concept. Then I start researching on how the things are going in this very field.

Just do it. Social Media. Landing page. A blog post. A status/ tweet. A cold email. A super small test that I help refine that knowledge.

For me it's usually an outline of what the idea is. Sometimes that's enough to kill an idea. Sounds great in your head but you start writing it out and all of a sudden it doesn't sound so great.

Build a business model and see if it could work financially (if it is a for profit project 😬)

For me its 3 pointer list :
- Researching & Exploring around the product I want to build
- Build that product
- Get to interact with the community and know their thought process on the product.
I'm following similar product for my upcoming product, it's currently at final stages of development.
You can add more points to it :)

Write the idea down and then create a mind map for it.

See if anyone else is doing it and how. Even if they are doing it, I end up doing it anyways because I think I can make it better: https://bestmovieszon.blogspot.com/
