I signed up on Peelist, ProductHunt and Daily.dev on the same day last week.
Used to overthink posting/connecting on most platforms, but i've posted daily on Peerlist and Daily.dev since then.
The most retaining feature for me is their daily streaks system. To be honest those apps are what remind me to come to PH.

Pre-filling forms with sensible choices saves users mental energy. Sounds boring, but boosts completion rates like crazy.
