What’s the Most Useful “Non-AI” Tool You Still Rely on Daily?

by

With AI tools launching every other day, it’s easy to forget the simple non-AI tools that still get the job done, sometimes even better.

For me, it's

Trello – for clean, visual task management

Notepad – for quick thoughts and brain dumps

CleanShot – for capturing what matters, fast (for screenshots)

CMD + F – because nothing beats a good ol’ text search 😅

Not every problem needs AI.

Sometimes, you just need something that works — fast, focused, and friction-free. (my thought)

👉 What’s one non-AI tool you still use daily and wouldn’t trade for an AI-powered version?

Let’s build a thread of underrated (but reliable) tools. 👇

Totally agree — not every task needs AI. I still use Online Notepad daily for quick notes and ideas. Simple, fast, and just works.

My workflow completely relies on the Apple default apps now. Especially Notes is what I use all the time. I would be lost without it.

I completely rely on Swatle, and I suggest you give it a try!

I am saying it often but I will say it again:
Apple Reminders – I use them for storing my tasks and ideas. (Including my Product Hunt posts) :)

Totally agree! 🙌 Sometimes the simplest tools are the real MVPs 🏆. I still rely heavily on Trello for keeping my projects organized — that visual board just works so well! 📋✨ And honestly, nothing beats a quick CMD + F when I need to find something fast 🔍⚡. It’s great to remember that not every solution needs to be AI-powered; speed and ease often win the day! 🚀🔥

One non-AI tool I can’t live without is Google Keep 🗒️ — perfect for jotting down ideas on the fly and syncing across devices seamlessly. What about you? 😊👇
