Not everyone has the same communication style. Eventually you’ll come across a colleague that doesn’t get it because they don’t process information the same way that you do. Being able to envision yourself as the other individual or group and their response to your explanations or solutions can dramatically improve the collaboration effectiveness.
Being honest and respectful from the very beginning is a key for me. We grow as a team just because of those two things — helps us appreciate any opinion, also question things and get to the most creative solutions.
And it’s important to know there’re different fazes of team collaboration: forming-storming-norming-performing. Based on that we’re pretty self aware why we fight today haha and it will be better tomorrow.

As long as you're targeting the correct parters, partnerships/collabs can be a great way to appeal to a new audience or even a great way to enter a similar but new niche in a certain market.
Creating a process for collaboration upfront and overcommunicating it is invaluable. Being able to use a shared Google sheet with a common system/process across the team on how to measure our KPIs aligns everyone towards the same goal.
