When do you think the AI hype will die down?

It is difficult to predict when the hype surrounding AI will die down. The field of AI is constantly evolving and new developments are being made all the time. Additionally, the potential applications of AI are vast, so it is likely that the hype will continue as long as there are new and exciting advancements being made. However, as the technology matures and becomes more widely adopted, the hype may eventually subside.

I think it is mostly a matter of the next big thing. We would need something to replace AI hype with. I think in 2-3 we will see something else that will be even hotter.

From hype to norm to table stakes.

AI may be a new track, so it will not stagnate in the short term.

The hype may come and go, but the power of these large language models, it's here to stay. And let me tell you, this current generation is something special. It's like nothing we've ever seen before. You can build things, smart things, that were just impossible before, and it doesn't take a team of thousands. It's like having a magic wand in your hand. And you know what, this is just the beginning, and the possibilities are endless.

when the AI occupy the world

AI hype will ebb and flow. New interfaces, devices, and machines integrated with AI will be released that amaze the masses. Right now it's chatGPT and other similar apps. Next, it will be some other device type or UI type, then a fully Autonomous robot, or something else for example.

Considering how much farther Chat GPT 4 may potentially go (relative to 3), probably not soon. Reportedly, up to 1 trillion parameters vs. the 175 billion present in 3, for example.
