Everybody wins if these social audio platforms specialize in their respective propositions and let this not become another monopolistic scenario.
Users should be able to differentiate between these platforms depending on their consumption needs.
Do I want to expand my professional reach? I use Twitter spaces!
Do I want to build with my community? I go to Clubhouse!
Also, we need to start subscribing to small audio & community based startups who provide more options and tools to network efficiently with less abundance.
Tried out Spotify Greenroom today. Loved the experience. It's also cool that you can record rooms and turn them into podcasts. That's not currently possible on the other platforms. But I think Twitter stands a good chance because people already use it day to day, so it might be easier to adopt.
