I use a very simple method. I use kitchen timer to split work into 45 minutes sessions. I have a sheet of paper on my refrigerator. On this paper I have a table where rows are days of the week and columns are projects I am working on. After each working session I put a cross in the corresponding project cell. This helps me analyze my time spent on tasks over the week.

Knowing how much time you and your team spends on tasks is a very important thing. Choosing the appropriate task management and time tracking tool, you will see who worked on what task and for how long, up to minutes. Try GanttPRO (https://ganttpro.com/) - it will assist in tracking your own time and the time spent on tasks by all your team members. Start the timer in real time or log it afterward.
