What are your opinion regarding usage of AI in content marketing, image generators, strategy planning, or any other digital marketing areas?
Do you think AI will be more powerful than human intervention or there will be a boundary?

Just met an AI language specialist at a conference and we discussed that we're far away from great instant translation and nuance of writing copy BUT we are already seeing the easy creation of imagery working well. I think they'll be some weirdness for some years and then it's going to be extremely automated and then soon after people's interest in social media will wane.
There's a great story about how all the early great minds of AI/Deep learning left the Universities to join Google, Baidu etc. "Taking over" is a strong word but definitely enhancing.

Not fully, requires human input to do some action.
I think we may soon see backlash of AI-generated content when people realized the article they are reading sound incoherent and repetitive. They would put up mental filter to avoid them.
AI is a good tool but it's important for marketers to use with caution, and always flex their editorial muscle before publishing. Or the tool needs to get better.
Most people on the planet are already using Google and rich Western markets, starting with the US, have been maturing. The geopolitical situation is not helping, as several years ago Google and other mega-tech companies thought that markets all over will be ready for picking.
The reality is far different, as security, privacy and geopolitical concerns are working to close them and really break the global Internet into a patchwork of isolated island networks.
As for number of searches and clicks on ads, searches have been kind of stagnating which is understandable but Google has been able to continually squeeze more and more clicks. That is the main factor offsetting their continued declines in cost-per-click (CPC). Keep in mind that most of the new clicks are actually not in search but on new platforms such as mobile and YouTube.
It becomes quite clear that the main challenge they have always been facing is how to even incrementally improve quality of ads and increase click-through rates. This is not rocket science, one has just to ask themselves when was the last time they stopped their searches, YouTube or mobile viewing and said ‘Wow, these ads are truly awesome and totally appropriate’. I did not think so.
Overall click-through rates are so low, in low single digit percentages that improving them just by little would yield a tremendous boost in revenues.
The tremendous difficulty of the advertising problem has been recognized by Google and others for ages and they have been spending continually many more resources for advertising, both in terms of people and machines, than for core search, which is considered kind of solved problem.
So this is why I think digital advertising and marketing will be the toughest nut to crack for AI the same it has been so far.
Irrational behaviors of crowds, which is hallmark of digital advertising, has been recognized to be impenetrable by even geniuses such as Newton. He famously said “ I can calculate precisely the movement of heavenly bodies but not he madness of men” after losing a big chunk of his wealth in stocks. I think AI will have an equally hard time figuring out such madness.
Oh yes!!!
1. For starters, marketing content (text, images, videos) will largely be in the realm of AI. Content "creation" will be more like content editing / retouching.
2. AI will be used for hyper personalization. To the point that we'll start seeing native scenes in the movies you watch (custom to you), personalized stanzas in songs you listen to.
3. We'll start to see products being purchased by one's "digital self" more or less on it's own will. The marketers will need to woo your digital counterpart too - and we'll lot of AI running the background here! 🤯

It does feel inevitable in the long run.

Yes, particularly in areas that desperately need automation such as content marketing and SEO

I realy think so. Today, nothing can study and improve the UX as well as an AI, this science of UX is the absolute result of Marketing. So, in my opinion, it's like for calculations no brain can give a result as precise and fast as a program.
Instead of taking away, I think that marketing will get better with AI involvement.
Marketing is one such area where human emotions come into play. So, I feel Ai might take way the whole marketing. However, Ai will take away repetitive tasks in marketing.
