I lost a $25 Starbucks card and a $50 department store voucher because I forgot they existed. My mom once tried to use an expired gift card at checkout and it was embarrassing for both of us. the "$21 billion sitting in drawers" stat is wild but completely believable. curious how you handle partially used cards - does it track remaining balance after each use, or is it mainly about the expiry reminder?
