@rrhoover Yea - and an interesting case of determining blame for libelous online reviews. If Ripoff Report (and its nutty owner) aren't legally responsible, are they ethically responsible? Does it matter?
@benstern0 great question. It's unrealistic to expect the Ripoff Report owner to accurately vet every report and presumably, his site has helped people avoid getting scammed so there is some good that comes from it. That said, it's his responsibility to instrument some process for ensuring innocent business owners/makers aren't targeted so cases like this don't happen.
