Key Insights from Users

1. Visibility matters more than automation
Job seekers feel their applications go into a void. Speed alone isn’t enough — they want control and feedback.

2. Direct outreach beats job boards
Users are more focused on referrals and decision-makers. We’ve prioritized contact discovery and outreach.

3. ATS friction is real
Resumes often get blocked by keyword mismatches. We’re improving how we parse and match job descriptions.

4. Design clarity > clever UX
The Kanban view worked, but drag-and-drop wasn’t intuitive. We rebuilt the interaction to be more obvious and responsive.

5. The moment of value is outreach
Real user momentum begins when they find contacts and send messages. This is now our activation focus.

6. Stability builds trust
Bugs in parsing and contact data had more impact than missing features. We’ve paused all surface features to fix core reliability.

What We’re Doing Now

  • Fixing job parsing, redirect logic, and duplicate contact issues

  • Rebuilding Kanban UX for clarity and speed

  • Stabilizing the Chrome extension and API behavior

  • Launching full analytics and activation tracking

  • Starting weekly user feedback loops and changelogs

What We’ve Stopped Doing

  • No new features until the activation path is smooth

  • No guessing — every decision is tied to one metric

  • No silent weeks — even bug fixes get communicated

We’re early. It’s messy. But we’re moving fast — guided by real usage, not assumptions.

We realized that speed creates excitement, but stability creates trust. Even small bugs were hurting confidence more than missing features, so now every fix gets the same attention as a launch.
