hivemind is designed to help you share and browse posts and images with people nearby... like a classic message board meets real-time local feed:  - See what’s happening around you, from a sunset pic to a local event or question.  - Post anonymously (externally) to keep things casual and pressure-free - No followers, no profiles, no like counts.  - Control the radius of what you see from one kilometre to your whole city.  - Engage in real conversations with real people, that are close by.

I actually came up with the idea for hivemind about a decade ago on a road trip with my wife stuck in traffic, but recently had reason to pick the idea back up. After thinking about building the platform out using modern approaches, I started on a tech demo and it just grew from there. I love the idea of the glory days of the anonymous internet of old while still knowing there is a human on the other side. Additionally, connecting with people around you without the noise traditional social platforms push through, can be hard. Whether you want to share a photo of the park, ask a quick question, or just see what’s going on nearby, hivemind is all about simplicity, privacy, and local connection.
