Thank you @chrismessina for hunting us!
Sounds, like icons, can play an important role in UI.
And though sounds might not be essential they can complement the visual experience of your app or a website. Sound effects could make the product more unique and fun to use.
This sound library features ding, ta-da, and other short sound effects for your application and websites.
Main features:
*SAME STYLE
A single sound designer synthesized and recorded all the sounds
*ALL FORMATS
.caf for iOS and macOS, .ogg for Android, and the .wav source
*TWO VOLUME LEVELS
-20 dB for mobile devices and -5 dB for desktop

They're very nice sounds - I personally like the emoji ones. 😎

Great collection! Is there any data on how users experience (well made) sound effects in non-game apps? Personally, I always mute my phone when using apps like twitter just to get rid of the sounds... still planning on adding sound to one of my apps one of these days though
@hsus Here is a pretty good article about using audio and sounds in general: https://www.smashingmagazine.com...
And there is a good conclusion in my opinion:
"Audio is everywhere, and there are good reasons to use it: to instruct, enhance and engage and to personalize experiences. But if poorly designed or used inappropriately, it can detract from the experience and be annoying."
Unfortunately, we don't have data about sound effects in non-game apps. Maybe you will be the one who will write a good article about that ;)

@nastya_grebneva good read! Thanks! But... that article is from 2012, and a lot of conventional wisdom about ui/ux has shifted since then. Anyway, will get this for my next project, great work
Really looking forward to using and implementing these on our web app, to enrich our user experience. This will probably be the only resource I use for a long time. Thank you for putting this library together! 🙏🏼
Pros:
Tap. Pop. Drip. (Does that sound dirty? 🤔) Wonderful variety of sounds. High quality!
Cons:
I would ideally contain the previews on your website, keeping it more professional.

Personally, I think subtle use of sound is a great way to add some additional 'delight' to products, I 'd like to see more of this type of stuff.
Pros:Really good quality, there are some really subtle sounds in there which is really important as it's easy to overdo it with sounds in UI.
Cons:It could use a stronger categorisation system to help classify sounds to help you find the right on for your situation.
