Ignite - English Drill - Turn any tech doc into a speaking drill, scored by AI

by
Most engineers can read English docs — but freeze when asked to explain something in English. Ignite fixes that. Share any technical article from Safari, and Claude AI generates 5 types of questions (concept explanation, comparison, use cases, examples, trade-offs). Answer out loud in English, and AI scores you on semantic accuracy — not just keywords. NotebookLM for input. Ignite for output. Built with SwiftUI + Claude API + SFSpeechRecognizer. Free to start.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built Ignite because I had a frustrating problem: I could read English tech docs just fine, but the moment someone asked me to explain something technical in English, I froze. The root cause? Massive input/output imbalance. We read English constantly but almost never practice speaking it on technical topics. Ignite lets you share any tech article → Claude AI generates questions → you answer out loud → AI scores your semantic accuracy. Would love to hear from anyone else who's felt this gap. Happy to answer any questions! 🔥

Thank you for an amazing launch day! 🙏

63 upvotes and 26 followers on my very first launch — I’m genuinely blown away.

Ignite was built for engineers who can read English docs but freeze when asked to explain something out loud. That was me.

If you tried it, I’d love your feedback. Drop feature requests here too — I’m actively building. 🔥
