Interlinea is where the reading itself happens, not a tool you copy things into afterwards. Whole-document translation with formulas intact, AI answers that cite page numbers you can click, highlights that travel with a shared page, and clean exits to Markdown, BibTeX and Zotero. The reading is the record.

Hi PH — I'm Damian, I built Interlinea for myself.
I read a lot of hard documents: papers, filings, standards. Every tool I tried made me copy what I read into a second tool — Zotero for the file, a PDF reader for the highlights, a notes app for what I thought, a chat tab for questions. The record of the reading ended up scattered across four places or nowhere.
Interlinea is one desk: file the document, translate it with formulas and tables intact, mark it up, ask it questions that answer with page numbers you can click, and send the marked page as a link. The reading itself is the record.
A few honest notes:
- Printed scans work; handwriting does not.
- Nothing is locked in: import a Zotero library with its PDFs, export highlights to Markdown, and export the works your highlights cite as BibTeX with DOIs.
- Some steps run in your browser: the semantic index is computed on your device, and on Chrome a rough translation can run with the built-in model.
- Documents are never used to train models; shared pages are kept out of search engines.
