Building an AI interview practice app out of my own interview anxiety

I'm Juan, a solo developer based in Fukuoka, Japan.
This is my first post on Product Hunt, so... hello! Excited to be part of this community.
A bit about what I'm working on: I'm building "InterviewMirror: AI Interviews" an app where you do mock interviews and an AI gives you feedback on clarity, confidence, and relevance. It came out of a pretty personal place, I've always struggled with interview anxiety, and built the tool I wish I'd had back then.
I'll be doing my first proper launch here soon, but wanted to introduce myself first. For those of you who've done a solo-dev launch before, what's one thing you wish you'd known going in, or done differently? Genuinely curious to learn from this community before I jump in.

I love the fact that InterviewMirror came from a problem you personally experienced. Those are often the most meaningful products to build.
I'm also working on an AI-powered product, and one thing I'm learning is that talking to users early is far more valuable than polishing features in isolation.
Your idea feels like a natural fit for AI, and I can see it helping a lot of people who struggle with interview anxiety.

And I think you're spot on about talking to users early it's tempting to keep polishing in isolation, but I'm trying to push myself to get real feedback as early as possible, even when the product feels "not ready yet."

I completely agree. It's surprisingly hard to put something in front of users before it feels "finished", but every time I do, I learn things I would never have discovered on my own.
I'm currently building Invio, an AI-powered platform that helps users interpret crypto market conditions through simple Buy, Hold, or Sell signals. The goal isn't to predict the future, but to simplify complex market information and make it easier to understand.
Like you, I'm still in the early validation stage, trying to get as much real user feedback as possible before investing too heavily in new features.
I'd love to check out InterviewMirror as well. It sounds like we're both learning the same lesson: talking to users early is far more valuable than building in isolation.
