Building tools for developers in the age of AI
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Liron — a UX/UI designer and product builder with about 8 years of experience working on digital products and web platforms. Over the past few years I’ve become really interested in the intersection of AI, development, and product building, and how these tools are changing the way developers work.
One thing I’ve been thinking about a lot lately is the narrative that AI will replace developers. Personally, I think the reality is very different — AI is incredibly powerful, but great software still depends on developers who understand architecture, problem solving, and real product thinking.
Because of that idea, I recently started building a project called ElevCode, which is an AI coding partner designed to help developers improve their skills, practice coding, and prepare for technical interviews.
I’m really curious to hear from other builders here:
How are you currently using AI in your development workflow?
Do you think AI tools are making developers better, or creating bad habits?
What tools have you found genuinely useful?
Would love to hear what everyone thinks.
