Commerce Intent Platform for D2C Brands
Hello to all the product builders.
I am a first time entrepreneur who has taken the problem I have lived for last 17yrs and converted it into a product.
I have 17yrs experience working in Digital Marketing space and one of the problem I always faced was that I knew what shoppers did on my site, what they purchase and where all they went on the site but never the 'Why' of their decision to purchase or not.
The only way I ever got to know it was when I spoke to the customer. But that was not scalable. So I built mPrompto to give me a deep insight into why shoppers buy or not buy.
Why is the 'Why' valuable in a customers journey for brands
We can get away from guessing users intention while purchasing - Eg: traffic on a niacinamide serum turns out to be about pigmentation, not acne.
We learn the elements of product most valuable to them - Eg: backpack buyers care about fitting a 16-inch laptop, not about water resistance.
We learn about the reasons they buy the product for - Eg: the same suit sells as office wear and as wedding-guest wear.
We can give the insights of the elements that work to the merchandising team to better stock up the store - Eg: repeated asks for "planters for small balconies" lead to a compact range being added.
We can give the reason to buy to a CRM for better retargeting - Eg: protein cart abandoners get a muscle-gain email or a weight-loss email, based on why they came.
PDP copy gets rewritten around real reasons. - Eg: "Safe during pregnancy?" moves to the first fold of the serum page.
Ad creative gets tested on proven motives. Not on intuition. - Eg: a running shoe ad switches from speed to knee comfort.
Drop-off stops being a mystery. - Eg: mattress shoppers leave over return logistics, not price.
Offers are built on value, not on discount. - Eg: gift buyers get a premium gift box instead of 20% off.
Cross-sell follows intent, not the category. -Eg: Shoppers are not promoted a laptop when you buy a laptop sleeve.
Search, SEO and AI visibility use the customer's own words. - Eg: a fit note for broad shoulders cuts shirt returns.
Returns go down. They have a buy-in when they decide to buy - Eg: "frizz in monsoon humidity" replaces "anti-frizz serum."
Revenue can be reported by reason not just the source of traffic or cost of sourcing that traffic. - Eg: gifting drives 18% of revenue but gets 0% of the budget.
We are building a product that has the bones to be an infrastucture that can help D2C brands understand intent of the customer online like never before.
We call our product mPrompto and hoping to create new category in D2C brands.
