Full-stack engineer exploring AI and vibe coding
by•
Hi everyone, I'm Dijedon. I'm a full-stack engineer working with PHP, Laravel, React, Next.js and TypeScript. I use AI coding agents and enjoy learning about usability, onboarding and how people find useful software.
I'm curious what has made the biggest difference in how you work with coding agents as a project grows.

Welcome, Dijedon! For me the biggest difference as the project grew was splitting the agent's instructions in two. The main file keeps only rules that apply to every change, short enough to always be read. Everything else, vendor quirks, store procedures, why a decision was made, lives in one notes file per area, and any surprising finding gets written there at the moment it is learned, not in a commit message. The second one: commit and push each finished stage right away, because work left uncommitted gets tangled with the next task.
