Hey everyone — I’m Olive 👋
I’ve been spending a lot of time reviewing early-stage products lately (mostly from Indie Hackers and Product Hunt), and I’ve noticed a consistent pattern:
A lot of products are actually solid…
but the value doesn’t click instantly for a first-time visitor.
Most times it’s not a traffic problem: it’s a clarity problem.
Things like:
explaining features before outcomes
hiding the “aha moment” too far down
or making users think instead of instantly understand
I’ve been sharing quick UX/copy feedback with founders to help fix that before it affects conversions.
If you’re building something and want a fresh set of eyes on how clearly your product communicates value, I’d be happy to take a look.
What’s been the hardest part for you when explaining your product to new users?
