Hey Product Hunt! I'm a backend engineer exploring indie macOS development 👋
Hey everyone!
I'm a software engineer from Vietnam. I've spent most of my career building backend systems, and recently I started exploring something quite different: building small, native macOS apps on my own.
I enjoy creating tools that solve everyday problems without adding unnecessary complexity.
I'm currently working on a few macOS utilities under ByQuan, including:
Pekivo: Inspect every format on your clipboard, built for developers.
Capivo: Capture, sort, and find your screenshots without the mess.
Makivo: Every dev utility in one window: JSON, JWT, cURL, regex, diff and more, all offline.
Flipivo: Set up a mode for each way you work, switch in one click, and put everything back just as fast.
I'm keeping things small: native apps, simple workflows, and a focus on privacy.
The biggest challenge so far isn't writing code. It's figuring out which problems people actually care enough about to pay to solve.
I'm here to learn from other makers, exchange feedback, and share what works (and what doesn't).
Would love to connect with other solo developers. What are you building right now?
You can find my projects at https://byquan.app/
