Why I stopped designing 'Screens' and started designing 'Success Rates'

by

Hi PH 👋

I’ve spent my career as a UI/UX designer, obsessing over every pixel and every micro-interaction. But recently, I faced a hard truth: A beautiful interface cannot save a product that nobody wants. In the age of AI, building has become easy. But choosing what to build has become harder than ever. I saw too many talented founders (and designers) wasting months on "ghost ideas" based on AI hallucinations or gut feelings that didn't scale.

That’s why I’m building Bunzee.ai (Business GPT).

My goal is to shift the focus from "How to build" to "What to build." I wanted to create a system that takes the friction out of market research and gives founders the data-driven confidence to move forward or the courage to pivot early.

I’m here to learn from this incredible community and connect with fellow makers who are trying to solve real-world problems. I have a question for you all: What was the most painful "pivot" you ever had to make, and was it based on data or just a gut feeling?

Looking forward to hearing your stories!
