Hey ProductHunt! I am Calamite, maker of Kagaz.co ๐
Kagaz means "Paper" in Hindi. โบ๏ธ
I built Kagaz because I wanted a lightweight place for personal planning, without the friction of heavy tools.
It brings notes, Kanban boards, tasks, code snippets, bookmarks, and tables into a single fast workspace.
Kagaz is local-first, so your data stays on your device by default.
Need backup or continuity across devices? You can optionally connect Google Drive or use JSON export/import anytime. Kagaz has not backend and data stays either in browser or on your Google drive.
It also works offline and is installable as a PWA.

โ How Kagaz is different
- Notion: lighter and faster for personal use, with less setup and workspace overhead.
- Trello: includes Kanban, plus notes, tasks, snippets, bookmarks, and tables in one place.
- Evernote: goes beyond note-taking with boards, tasks, and table workflows.
- Google Docs + Sheets + Keep: combines these everyday workflows into one unified app.
- Airtable: supports lightweight tables without database-level complexity.
โ Privacy first
- Unlike many cloud-first tools, Kagaz is local-first: your data stays in your browser by default, with optional Google Drive sync and JSON export.
Would love your feedback. What feels useful, whatโs missing, and what I should build next ๐
