Hey Product Hunt! π
I've used a lot of analytics tools over the years. And honestly, most of them annoyed me for the same reasons.
Some had dashboards so complex I needed 10 minutes just to find my daily visitor count. Some limited me to 5 sites or 10k events/month and wanted me to pay $50/month to unlock basic features. Some kept my data on their servers with no way to export it properly. And when I was building multiple products at the same time, setting up and managing analytics for each one separately felt like a chore.
So I built Litemetrics.
It's dead simple. The dashboard shows you what matters. Visitors, pageviews, referrers, countries, devices, events. Clean UI, no noise. If you've ever felt lost in GA4, you'll appreciate this.
No limits, period. Unlimited sites, unlimited events, unlimited custom properties. It runs on your server, so the only limit is your hardware. Building 10 side projects? One Litemetrics instance handles all of them.
AI agent friendly. This one I really care about. The CLI outputs structured JSON, so AI agents can query your analytics programmatically. I actually use this myself. My agent checks my product metrics regularly and gives
me a summary of what changed. It just works.
Your data, your server. No third party ever sees your analytics data. Self-hosted with ClickHouse or MongoDB. GDPR-friendly by design because the data never leaves your infrastructure.
Embeddable. If you're building a SaaS and want to offer analytics to your customers, Litemetrics drops right into your React app as native components. White-label it with themes and your customers will think you built the whole thing.
This is fully open source under MIT. I'm building this in the open and contributions are very welcome. Whether it's a bug fix, a new theme, a framework integration, or just feedback. Let's build this together. π€
