Hi everyone! Thank you so much for checking out my post! This project has fulfilled a dream of mine, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Merge Merge is halfway between Candy Crush Saga and Tetris, but unlike either of them. Check out the video to see how the planning and organizing of colors works. My slogan is 'games that don't play you'. It seems like mobile games are using so much psychological tools to get people to buy their gems or showing 30 second ads for every 10 seconds of gameplay, I get it, it works, but I'd like to provide users with better games, not more ads. Merge is $0.99 with no ads and no in app purchases. Why This Is Fulfilling A Dream Of Mine A friend and I wrote our first game (Tetris) together in Java Swing and ever since then, now almost 8 years ago, I've been working on and off on a game of my own. I keep getting writers block or maybe gamers block and for awhile I lost faith that I could really make a game from start to finish that people could enjoy. This brings us to Merge. Merge is inspired by a previous iOS and flash game, with some small personal tweaks, that one day just stopped working on my phone. This was my opportunity to fulfill a dream of releasing a game publicly. I'm happy to share Merge with you today as my first publicly released game and hopefully the first of many.
