We were featured three times in the Product Hunt newsletter! 🎉

We were featured three times in the Product Hunt newsletter, including once before our launch day had even ended.

Meridian finished as the #1 Product of the Day, and we are now aiming for the top of the August monthly leaderboard.

Meridian is an open-source, MIT-licensed, local-first AI work journal built to ensure meaningful work does not go unnoticed. It runs on your device, captures real work activity, organizes it into a clear timeline, connects it with GitHub and Jira, and drafts worklogs and project updates for review and approval.

We want to make work more visible without turning productivity software into surveillance. Meridian keeps the underlying context on the user’s device, gives them control over what gets shared, and remains open source so anyone can inspect how it works.

We are currently #10 for August, and your support can help us reach the top. Please upvote Meridian, share it, and star the GitHub repository.

Three newsletter features around one launch is wild, that's the kind of compounding attention most launches never see. #1 on the day plus a monthly leaderboard run means the momentum is real. Congrats to the whole Meridian crew, well deserved.

Thank you, Lisa. We are grateful for your support. Reaching #1 Product of the Day was a major milestone for the entire Meridian team, and the three newsletter features have helped us carry that momentum into the August monthly leaderboard.

Carrying newsletter features into the monthly board is the part most number one finishes never manage. Good luck with the August run.

three in one cycle is unusual, nice work. for anyone reading this and wondering how that happens, aaron oleary who actually writes the newsletter has said publicly what he looks at, and it wasnt what i expected. the description is the first thing he reads, a weak image gallery makes him skim past a listing entirely, and the maker comment is where you get to expand past the description character limit. pitches go to editorial at producthunt.co and he says there is no real deadline, so pitching after launch day still works. the part id want to know from your side is which of the three placements actually moved anything. a pre launch feature and a post launch one should behave completely differently, and almost nobody publishes that.
