@mattcrail <3 Thanks! Funnily enough, not that much. We're happy with what we've built :) But always eager to hear customer feedback and build what they want!

@mattcrail@gansernathan That's one of the things I like about Nat and other things Nathan builds. Everything is kept simple, to serve a specific purpose which makes them easy to start and continue using.
TL;DR a personal CRM that connects to your email & calendar and knows who you're losing touch with.
Hey PH Community :)
@iamfahad and myself have been working on this personal CRM for about two years now. Finally, we've reached a stage where we believe we're good.
The app is not perfect, does not suit all use cases but does some things extremely well. Specifically, It does the things be believe to be very important, very well.
No contact labelling or grouping. Instead, we focus on answering one simple question: who am I losing touch with.
Our approach is very specific: We focus on Google users (which is why there is only a Google login) who communicate mainly through email and put every IRL meeting in their calendar.
For those people, we are able to capture 80% of their social interactions with Google's APIs. Which means that our if-else rules are accurately able to identify contacts our customers are losing touch with.
nat.app then acts as a safety net and displays those contacts to our customers.
This product really has been a labor of love over the past 3 years and I'm very happy to be sharing it with you today.

Interesting! How do you distinguish between people we want to keep in touch with and people we’ve only had to email with a couple of times but have no interest in staying in contact with?
@gansernathan makes sense, thanks! Might helpful adding that to your FAQ~

congrats on the launch @gansernathan and @iamfahad! what have been the most surprising learnings from customers during the past few years of building Nat?
@iamfahad@samdebrule Great question! Certainly in the personal CRM space. Biggest thing is how important it is to niche down even among your own customers. Aka. they will pull you in different directions and you'll have to pick and choose a subset of customers you want to serve perfectly instead of trying to serve all of them okay-ish. Even if this means losing some, you'll increase retention among the others :)

@gansernathan Hi Nathan, glad to see Nat on ProductHunt! I've been using Nat for months now (or longer?) and it helps me stay in touch with my growing number of contacts.

Very interesting! This is the product I didn't know I needed. I have manually tracked my connections in excel before, this would be a time saver. Congrats on the launch!
@mariana_g Awesome Mariana! Please do schedule a call with me so that I can personally show you how to make the most out of Nat.app :) https://calendly.com/ganser
I used this when I started a new job search and had to rekindle my network. It's integration with Gmail is fantastic since that's where so many of my relationships exist. It also had the best usability compared to other personal CRMs I evaluated. It's missing more advanced features, but the development team are fantastic to interact with and always help me figure out what I did wrong or take my suggestions seriously.
