Hello Everyone,
I think we can all agree when it comes to the fact that Facebook isn't the best place to handle such a robust community. Between always missing out on my favorite collector's giveaways, specials or sales, laggy staxxs'/other auctions and games, faulty payment processes/admin reviews, tedious rules for posting my stuff, my personal feed and notifications getting blown up, and not having information about certain cards in front of me very easily - I couldn't take it anymore. I know I may not be the first, but I may be the most driven, innovative, and passionate about the niche audience. Sports and Tech are my passion.
Having collecting cards for many years and being quite the innovator, I decided to give it a shot and build a safe, easy, and fun platform for all card collectors to interact and safely exchange. My hopes with this project is to make it easier for everyone to communicate, gain notoriety, sell/buy more product, safely do transactions, and get to create an experience around trading cards that makes it personal, memorable, and trustworthy.
Now, this may be a rocky road, the site may not be perfect at first, this may be a tad different than what most people in the community are used to, but why not? Yes, there are eBay, StockX, Mecari, Facebook etc...to sell your cards, but where is the personal touch? When you first made Facebook, why did you change from MySpace? When you made Twitter, why didn't you just stick with Facebook? It's new, it can make things easier, and this is built for card collectors by card collectors. This is 100% free and I think if just a few people can see what a more focused and personalized platform can do, they won't think twice about turning around.
I hope to get Brick and Mortar stores more traffic/sales, I hope to get that advance collectors his flips and sales without the hassle, I want that new collector to have a fun and safe experience doing the hobby, I want individuals to be able to sell their cards to a bigger audience and put more money in their pocket, I want to change the way this old industry is done. Can you help me?
