How it started

It actually started with a YC Request for Startups Summer 2025.

Tyler Bosmeny, a YC partner, described a voice assistant for email — specifically, being able to clear the inbox by voice during 20-minute drive to work. We read that and thought: that's genuinely interesting. Let's build it.

So we built a mobile voice assistant. It worked. But we weren't really using it.

And when we tried to figure out why, we understood that there weren't many use cases - driving. Maybe cycling. A run. We need much time before tools like that hit mass adoption.

And then it hit us — we spend 8+ hours a day at our computers, not our phones. Desktop is where the real work happens — emails, docs, code, messages, switching between ten apps constantly. 

We pivoted and rebuilt for desktop. Threw away months of mobile work and started over. 

The second problem: the product was overwhelming…
