Octograf - Remember every person you meet.

I built Octograf because I kept losing the most valuable part of my network - context.

We meet hundreds of people at conferences, dinners, and intros and forget most of them. Your phone stores a name and number. That's it. No memory of where you met, what you talked about, or why they matter.

**So I built the laziest possible way to never forget anyone:**

- Just speak for 10 seconds after meeting someone — AI extracts the name, company, context, action items, and sets follow-up reminders
- Snap a business card — OCR does the rest
- Forward an email to your personal you@capture.octograf.com address — auto-extracted
- Or just type, if that's your thing. (no more form fields)

**But here's where it gets interesting — it's not just YOUR notes/context.**

Octograf shows you what *others* have publicly said about a person too. So when you open a contact, you see aggregated context from your network - what other people actually said/saved about them. It's an aggregate view of every person in your world. And of course, any user can set it to privately store that context.

**Network intelligence that actually works:**

- Search "who in my network knows a seed-stage investor?" or "iOS developer" or "corporate lawyer" — and it searches your extended network too (your network's network)
- See your network graph — how you're connected to anyone and how many intros away
- Mutual connections surface instantly
- See how many degrees of separation are you from say Elon Musk/Sam Altman/Keanu Reeves etc.

**Reputation & social capital:**

- Every user earns a Network Score and rank (Bronze to Titan) based on how they actually use their network
- A Social Capital score across 7 dimensions — generosity, reliability, authenticity, openness, and more
- Peer-rated Give/Take labels — the network sees who's a genuine connector vs. who just collects contacts

**Privacy is a first-class feature:**

- Three modes: Open World (public to all), Mutual Only (visible to shared connections), or Private (just you). Visibility is reciprocal, so your selected mode also determines who you can discover.
- Per-entry privacy toggles on every voice note and context entry
- You choose exactly what's visible and to whom

**Referrals & exclusive networks:**

- Create or join curated networks (open, invite-only, or application-based)
- Built-in referral workflows with candidate review and approval
- Your referral chain earns points 6 degrees deep

**The viral bit:** When you capture someone's email, they get a "someone saved a note about you" notification. They sign up, claim their profile, and see what people are saying. The network grows organically.

I built this because I kept losing relationships that mattered. Octograf fixes that today, and if the network grows, we’ll unlock a lot more powerful features next.

Octograf takes the opposite path: as the network grows, it aggregates organic, objective context about each person from real interactions.
