Hey everyone, Sayantan here - creator of Parrot 👋 Parrot started for a very personal reason. My father writes in Bengali. He often needs to send emails, post online, or write formal letters — but typing in native scripts, managing punctuation, formatting, switching languages… it was exhausting. So I built a tool where he could just speak once. Recently, he dictated a two-page letter in Bengali to his bank. He read it after transcription and told me: “I didn’t even need to change a single comma.” That was the moment I knew this needed to exist. Like my father, there are countless users who want to write in their native language, but the only solution is virtual keyboard,s which is neither fast nor does it corrects grammers and formatting. That's where Parrot comes in. Parrot removes the friction between thinking in your language and using technology. It sits in your menu bar. Press a hotkey, speak naturally, and it writes — across Indian languages, code-mixing, and even translation use cases. I’m building this in public, shipping improvements every week, and I personally speak with many of our early users. I’d truly love your feedback ❤️
