We first launched Pathmode in December as a journey mapping tool. Within weeks, we realized journey maps weren't the real problem — teams needed a way to go from raw user evidence to specs their AI agents could actually execute. So we scrapped the old product and rebuilt from scratch. Pathmode is now an intent engineering platform: you collect evidence (friction points, user quotes, metrics), AI helps you define product context and synthesize specs through conversation, and the output goes straight to Cursor, Claude Code, or any agent via MCP.
