Unfortunately such situations exist and the need for something like PeacePath is worrying but I'm glad you took the time and effort to build. You're right that it came from a personal place. I spent over $200k and several years in family and dependency court, and honestly, the part that stuck with me wasn't my own case. It was sitting in those hallways watching families who didn't have anything close to that. Parents trying to understand a case plan nobody had explained to them, showing up to hearings without a single document organized.

The attorneys and social workers in that system are not the problem; they're carrying caseloads in the hundreds. Court-appointed and legal aid counsel do extraordinary work with almost no time per family. There's just a gap between hearings that no professional has the bandwidth to fill, and that's where most families lose ground.

That's what the free COMPASS side is for: helping parents walk in prepared instead of lost. No cost, because the people who need it most are the ones who can't pay.

   I could not agree more. community is more than personal gain or interest in only your neck of the world. I dont have kids but as a child of divorce myself im glad somebody is stepping up to make it just that one bit less painful and manageable! kudos! best, Andy da Costa

i like the AI message rewriting. i'm always skeptical if it’ll really make my texts “calm” without them sounding like i'm trying too hard. definitely worth a shot considering how my messages sometimes end up going sideways unintentionally.
