Hey guys 👋 My name is Mike and I made pickXcolor because picking colors always ended up in placing rectangles in Figma with their colors on it. So I decided to build this infinite board: 🎯 Pick from anywhere: Grab any pixel on your screen with the eyedropper (press I), or paste HEX, RGB, HSL, OKLCH or CSS names, as many as you like. 🎨 Everything about a color: Name, all formats with copy, Tailwind-style 50–900 shades, and WCAG 2.1 contrast against white and black. (More Detail Ideas are welcome!) 💻 Ready-to-paste code: CSS variables, Tailwind v4/v3, SCSS, SwiftUI/UIKit, Jetpack Compose, JSON design tokens, PNG and SVG. 🧩 A board that works like a design tool: Pan, zoom, group with ⌘G, duplicate, undo, plus light and dark mode. :D It's free, there's no account, and nothing is uploaded: your board is saved in your browser. Picking from outside the browser uses the EyeDropper API, so it works in Chrome, Edge and other Chromium desktop browsers. Safari, Firefox and mobile fall back to the system color picker. I'd love your feedback. 🙏 Mike!
