PinPoint - Pin places from social media.

Jens here from PinPoint. I’m super excited to share the very first version with you.

This all started from my own frustration a few months ago while traveling. I’d come across amazing spots on Instagram or TikTok (cafés, restaurants, hidden gems) and save them for later in the respective apps. But when I was in the moment to look for places
• I had no idea why I saved something
• Just a bunch of collections where I had to rewatch the Reel to find the name or what was said
• And manually adding stuff to Maps? Just painful

So I started building PinPoint, a mobile app that lets you:

🎞️ Save place recommendations straight from Instagram and TikTok
🗺️ See them all on a map
💬 Keep the why and extra context like review scores, social links, and more

No more digging through saved folders or screenshots, just a map full of places you actually want to go.
