🚨 Community landing page roast: give a roast, get a roast 🚨

by

Let’s bring back everyone’s favorite kind of feedback: brutally honest and weirdly helpful.
Drop a link to your landing page in the comments. Then roast someone else’s. Keep it real, keep it useful, keep it (mostly) kind 🫶

🗣️ We’re talking:

  • What’s confusing?

  • What’s missing?

  • What’s great but buried?

  • Would you actually sign up or bounce?

👀 The rules:

  1. Give a roast → pick someone else’s page and leave thoughtful feedback.

  2. Get a roast → now you get to hear what’s not working on yours.

  3. Repeat for maximum insight (and pain).

Let’s make each other’s pages better, one slightly painful truth at a time 👇

@ayush2390 I like it. The purpose is clear, CTA works. There may be too many colours on the first screen. Overall solid landing page.

https://revve.ai - prepping for a launch next week. Would really appreciate any feedback

@trung_vu3 The chat popup with the hi msg is killing me. Using light font for the main buttons is destroying my eyes :D change that. But nothing burns more then seeing your testimonials and the bald guy :DDD Not sure of Elliott is a real guy but man you have to find a better, higher quality pic of him

Trung Vu

@mzkvisuals thanks. what’s wrong with the chat pop up?

Kaloian Toshev

@trung_vu3 it steals the spotlight. I just arrived on your homepage and I need to learn what you do and yet you push me to chat with you. It's better to let me explore your homepage and then find a way to push me to chat with you.

@trung_vu3  @mzkvisuals yah this is solid feedback. many of the images feel low res, and maybe im in the minority but i really really dont like when there is an agro chatbot.

this graphic seems rough having a different background than your main page color.

help me live in a world where these cards are the same size:

no pricing that i could find easily, but maybe im missing something. imo a red flag.

also help me live in a world where these numbers are aligned:

Overall, think a bit of polish could make me feel like this is a premium product, but right now im not sure i really understand why I would use you to solve this problem for me.

Hope this helps and goodluck with the launch!

@mzkvisuals  @catt_marroll really appreciate this

@mzkvisuals  @trung_vu3 No problem, hope you have a great rest of your day and nice work shipping. it's hard to get things as far as you have!

@paulramen96 switching languages does not work correctly

Talhatak

https://postsynthx.com - constructive roasts are welcome :D

Michael Vavilov

@talhatak I like to see pricing on the landing page. it builds trust.

@taishi_yamashita

  • Sorry but I don't understand the purpose (What will I get when I'll be tracking Altman?)

  • A visual or a video could help on this

  • Who is this for? You could tell by promoting 3 use cases on the front page

Ping me to know more!

https://nextdocs.co Just finished landing, tear it apart so I have no choice but to redesign it :D

@vladan_ilic2 Really liked the clean no-nonsense approach. Probably a popup or a placeholder text on what it does/welcoming the user will be very helpful!

@daniellemaughon consider directing some tasteful critique to landing pages here!

  • Def try and fix the blue link text for your study resources section

  • I feel as if the three-column format is good for separating header text/images, not separating full paragraphs. One paragraph per row should be the max as to not overwhelm the user

  • Actually, literally take each column and make it its own row and you'd be golden
