Launch tomorrow and you could get a YC interview
by•
If you’re still sitting on your launch, this is the push.
YC made a special exception for this community: one or more companies that launch tomorrow will get a YC interview—and potentially funding. A YC partner will review every eligible launch.
So if you’ve been waiting to feel more ready, don’t.
Launch on Product Hunt by midnight tonight, schedule it for tomorrow, and add the tag “YC application.”
You can keep polishing in private, or you can put it in the world and give yourself a real shot.
Someone launching tomorrow is getting that opportunity. Go be one of them.

I'd be curious if there's going to be a follow-up share out; there was (unsurprisingly) a lot of launches and voting yesterday but would love to learn more about how the YC team specifically decided which were compelling.
Congrats on this initiative and partnership! It was interesting to go through all the YC applications directly from the launch feed - maybe next time we'll coordinate better with the CoreSight launch as well.
Aura Water: Private Hydration
We just scheduled the launch of Aura Water, a private, offline‑first hydration tracker for Android. Even though the YC interview promo window has closed, we’re using this launch to stress‑test our positioning, get real user feedback, and build a tighter story for our upcoming YC application.
A bit late to this party. :(
curious to know how you observed this? any data you saw regarding this?
@aaronoleary Looks like we missed an amazing opportunity. We weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger yet, still doing a bit of polishing before launching but it’s great to see YC doing things like this with the Product Hunt community.
I'm new here but excited to be a part of it!
Hopefully it goes well and they run something like this again soon.
Starnus
Hey @aaronoleary , I just saw YC mention AI-native agencies, and we’re already seeing this play out with Starnus. It feels much bigger than a trend. More and more, people do not just want software alone, they want experts by their side, with AI making that model far more scalable and affordable. You guys really are a few steps ahead.
